My camera is a Canon M6 Mark II , and it was recording on video mode,

so these were the sensor settings .

From that track I was able to collect a sparse point cloud

but that isn't enough for understating the scene.

Using the tracked camera and the plate , we can generate a denser pointcloud

Isolating the portions we want to keep as group , is possible to mesh that to generate a proxy mesh.

With a mesh it much easier to place any 3d object
